Overview
Keith came to me as they had a vision to convert their unused existing garage to a usable living space next door to their family home.
The job consisted of knocking down the existing garage building and building a completely new garage with a living space above.
We demolished the existing building and then dug out footings for the new space and installed drainage. The building involved brick and block work with cavity walls, installing a steel frame structure to take the weight of roof and increase the roof height to provide additional space upstairs.
The garage has now been insulated, plasterboarded and decorated and now provides the family with an additional living space as well as a double garage downstairs.
